SHARE

The Ecu Union Aviation Protection Company (EASA) has issued a Warfare Zone Knowledge Bulletin (CZIB) for the airspace of the Center East and Persian Gulf, caution operators to not perform inside the affected airspace in any respect altitudes and flight ranges and to carefully observe airspace traits within the area, following U.S. and Israeli moves in Iran.

To start with legitimate till Monday, 2 March 2026, and slated for evaluation thereafter, the CZIB covers altitudes/flight ranges within the airspace of: Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

On 28 February 2026, Israel and the U.S. carried out army moves concentrated on websites inside of Iranian territory. In reaction, Iran introduced retaliatory assaults.

“The possession of all-altitude capable air-defence systems, cruise and ballistic missiles and the use of air assets capable to operate at all-altitudes, including interception capability make the entire affected airspace vulnerable to spill-over risks, misidentification, miscalculation and failure of interception procedures,” EASA’s CZIB states.

“Given the current and expected developments, there is thus a high risk to civil aviation in the affected airspace.”

Rotation

EASA, along with the Fee and Member States, will proceed to carefully observe the placement, as a way to assess whether or not there is a rise or lower of the danger for EU plane operators because of the evolution of the danger and possibility scenario.
