Kuwaiti Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah conducted an important telephonic discussion with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to deliberate upon important developments in the region and deliberate upon practical measures to further strengthen their relationship.
This diplomatic dialogue takes place at a time when regional tensions have increased significantly in the Middle East, stressing the resolve of both countries towards active crisis management, political stability, and de-escalation. The exchange is built on recent high-level diplomatic contacts—including bilateral ministerial visits arranged through official state channels aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation across trade, defence, investment, energy, and skilled manpower.
Concluding the conversation, the foreign ministers agreed to maintain close, continuous consultation on matters of mutual strategic interest. They emphasised that joint Kuwaiti-Pakistani coordination remains vital for advancing long-term peace, regional stability, and economic growth across both the Gulf and South Asia.
