The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Kuwait, Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, directly oversaw a massive live-fire tactical exercise conducted by the Saleh Al-Mohammad Mechanised Brigade (94).

The high-ranking military field assessment was mainly geared towards evaluating the frontline operational skills, combat preparedness, and tactical coordination within a number of defensive conditions. The training exercise was set up in a way to simulate challenging live-action environments, combining live ammunition exercises with the movement of troops in order to test the adaptability of the units in the field. In every stage of the training exercise, Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah carefully monitored all stages of the exercise, analysing tactical formations, integration of heavy weapon systems, and multi-unit coordination.

Formal statements issued by the Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations of the Kuwaiti Army highlighted that these specialised field manoeuvres constitute an essential pillar of the armed forces’ ongoing strategy to reinforce national defence capabilities across all service branches. Addressing participating officers, combat engineers, and frontline personnel during his field inspection, the Deputy Chief emphasised that regular, rigorous tactical training serves as the indispensable foundation for sharpening practical combat skills, refining technical execution, and sustaining operational cohesion under fire. He underscored that continuous field practice is vital for ensuring military formations remain fully prepared to address evolving regional security challenges effectively.

Following the successful completion of the live-fire manoeuvres, the senior military leadership extended formal commendations to the commanding officers, tactical planning teams, logistical coordinators, and participating troops for demonstrating high operational standards and flawless field execution. Senior defence officials reaffirmed that continuously elevating unit proficiency across land, air, and naval formations remains a central objective of Kuwait’s overall defence strategy. Maintaining this elevated state of preparedness ensures the protection of national sovereignty, safeguards critical state infrastructure, and guarantees total operational readiness against potential security threats across the region.
