Salalah, unlike the rest of the Gulf countries, which have very hot summers, has its own seasonal monsoon referred to as Khareef, where moist air from the Arabian Sea produces mist, rain, and a verdant landscape for travellers to visit.
The annual weather phenomenon has become one of Oman’s most significant tourism drivers, supporting hospitality, leisure and local businesses during the summer months.
Located on Oman’s southern coastline, Hawana Salalah offers visitors direct access to many of the region’s natural attractions while providing a range of accommodation options.
